CREATOR RADAR

Frequently asked questions

Everything creators ask before and after buying Creator Radar — pricing, licensing, setup, data, and troubleshooting.

General

What exactly is Creator Radar?

A Chrome browser extension for Trybe creators. It reads data already visible on pages you're logged into — your own Trybe account, Meta's Ad Library, Amazon, and TikTok — and turns it into one ranked view of which brand deals are actually worth chasing, based on commission, competition, and ad activity.

It's not a hosted service or a bot — everything runs locally in your own browser, reading pages the same way you would, just faster and all in one place.

Is Creator Radar affiliated with Trybe, Meta, Amazon, or TikTok?

No. Creator Radar is an independent tool, not produced, authorized, or endorsed by any of those companies. Their names are used only to describe what the extension reads.

Does it post, join brands, or take any action on my behalf?

No. Creator Radar only reads what's already on the page — it never clicks "join," submits anything, sends a message, or takes any action without you doing it yourself. The one exception is the optional auto-scan features (like scrolling through Discover Brands or your already-joined brands' Top Formats), which only click things that reveal more data to read, never anything that joins a brand or accepts an agreement on your behalf.

Pricing & licensing

Is this a subscription?

No. Creator Radar is a one-time purchase — you pay once and it's yours to keep using, with free updates as Trybe/Meta/Amazon/TikTok change their sites. There's no recurring or hidden charge.

Can I share my license with a friend, or use it on more than one person's account?

No. Each Creator Radar purchase issues one license to one individual, tied to the email address used at checkout. Sharing your activation email, letting someone else use your license, or using it on someone else's behalf isn't permitted under our Terms of Service — it's treated as a breach of the license, which can result in the license being revoked without refund.

If you run a team or agency and want more than one person covered, that's completely fine — each person just needs their own separate license. Email wendy.jo.davis@gmail.com if you're setting up several at once.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final. Because Creator Radar is a digital product delivered and activated immediately at purchase, we don't offer refunds, credits, or exchanges once a license has been issued — including if you change your mind or decide not to use it. This is stated at checkout and in our Terms of Service.

The one exception is a genuine billing mistake on our end (e.g., a duplicate charge) — email wendy.jo.davis@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge and we'll look into it.

What happens to my data if I stop using Creator Radar?

Nothing gets deleted automatically. Everything captured lives locally in your own browser (and in your own Google Sheet, if you connected one) — uninstalling the extension just stops it from reading new pages; it doesn't reach out and erase anything already saved.

Getting started

How do I install it?

Get it from the Chrome Web Store, then click the toolbar icon and enter the email you used at checkout to activate it. Full walkthrough on the How to Use page.

Does it work on iPad?

Not in Safari — Safari on iPadOS doesn't support Chrome extensions. It does work in Orion, a free iPad browser with (currently beta) support for Chrome extensions.

One thing specific to Orion: it has its own per-site "Website Settings" (the gear icon in the address bar) with extension permissions separate from Creator Radar's own on/off toggle. If the extension looks installed and licensed but nothing shows up on a Trybe page, check that Orion's own site permission for Creator Radar is set to allow it on jointrybe.com.

I installed and activated it, but nothing shows up on Trybe. What's wrong?

Click the toolbar icon first — if it's asking for your email, activation never finished; enter the email from your checkout confirmation. If it already shows "Licensed to [your email]" with a toggle, make sure that toggle is switched On.

Then close and reopen your Trybe tab. A tab that was already open before you installed or activated the extension won't pick it up — it only runs on tabs loaded after that point.
A scan says it's "stuck" on a brand and skipped it. Is that a bug?

Usually not — it's the scanner protecting itself. If a brand requires accepting its own separate creator agreement before you can see its commission data, Creator Radar deliberately won't accept that on your behalf (that's a real legal agreement, not something safe to automate), so it skips that one brand and tells you which one so you can handle it yourself if you want that brand's data. Everything else keeps scanning normally.

If it's skipping brands that clearly don't have that kind of gate, or the same brand repeatedly, email wendy.jo.davis@gmail.com with a screenshot of the error — that's genuinely useful for tracking down real bugs.

Data & privacy

Where does my data go?

Everything Creator Radar reads is stored locally in your own browser, and — only if you choose to connect it — in a Google Sheet created in your own Google Drive. Nothing is sent to us or stored on our servers. See the full Privacy Policy for exactly what's read from each site.

Does Creator Radar see my Trybe login or payment info?

No. It never touches your Trybe (or Meta, Amazon, TikTok) login credentials or payment details — it only reads content already rendered on the page, the same way your own eyes would.

Support

Something's not working — how do I get help?

Email wendy.jo.davis@gmail.com with what you're seeing (a screenshot of any on-page error helps a lot) and which brand/page it happened on.
